Microsoft is making updates 200 MB smaller so they won’t put as much strain on your internet connection. For example, apps that are already up to date, such as Microsoft Edge, are not downloaded again, so update packages can be downloaded lighter and faster.
In fact, Microsoft achieves this speedup through parallel processing.
